A regular day. I am in a oOK mood and it's Fri. Well, so far gas has gone up 20 cents over night. WTF?? and my tooth hurts and would'nt ya know it the computer is jacked up at work, the weather is crazy and my coffee is cold. So I am wondering what the rest of the day will be like.
How is your Fri.?

I ate all the pork rinds!

Well, as you can see by the picture below we are painting.
I had hired a mariachi band, there was a guest speaker even!-Picasso's granddaughter was going to give painting tips.
I had a big spread of pork rinds and Kool Aide for the painting party. I even had a driver standing by at the airport awaiting the arrival of all you painters.
The local sheriffs department even offered to help with crowd control. and wouldn't ya know it no one showed.
Some of you sent word of why you could not attend. I got such reasons as, "I have a colonic scheduled", "I have got to remove the corns from my mother-in-laws feet that day". I even got a "I have to wash my hair" while I am sure all these events were legit, I can't help wonder.
So,I guess it will be me and the Critter painting alone. good thing we like being together.

Please refer to the earlier post The Barn dated 2/18/09 if ya can't figure out what I saying here.

The Painting party is on.

Honey, there appears to be a tractor in my bedroom.

Look who wasn't to thrilled when we explained that we will soon be moving our happy little family into a barn.
Dash had a few choice words for the Critter and I.

One up game. Married style

Have you ever played the One Up Game? You know where you and your spouse rattle off what all you have done for the other and how your spouse should bow down before you and worship the ground you walk on and bring you coffee in bed every morning for having done them the favor of marrying them? No, You have never played? Well around our house this game is played more than UNO. It mainly consist of the chore of the cat vs dog and garage cleaning verses Wally-hell.
Set the scene- Critter empties the litter box and goes into the speech about why does he have to do this and I should bow down and be ever so grateful that he has preformed this horrid duty when they are my cats. -I shoot back I let your dog out and they are OUR cats. -He shoots back he made the bed. -I shoot back I make the bed the other 364 days of the year and did the dishes.- He returns the fire with I swept the garage and put the clothes in the dryer. -I fire back I put the clothes in the washer and fed the dog and cats.- Then he drags out the big guns and says I'm building you a barn(He likes to say My barn, Like, where is he gonna live?) I end the days game by saying I GO TO WALLY-Hell therefore I win the round. Yea, ME
You ever play this game?? and truth be told the best day of my life was when I met my Critter

HMMMM? I apparently had a little issue with people putting comments on me blog. Well, I think I got it fixed. Thank You, Garlic Man. No, you didn't upset me thanks for letting me know. never did get the email.HMMM? As for tracking me like a stalker. toooooooFunnnnnnnnnny :-} I guess in the grand scheme one really can't hide. Have a Scrappy kind of day and thanks, again. Keep on Stalkin!

Way off base!

Oh! for the love of the monkey and all that is holy. I have to right a wrong and post yet another blog.
My dear ole cuz over at "God, you ain't gonna believe this" has posted some diddy about how sexy Ponch was. Give me a break! John was way cuter, more financially stable, more focused and way cuter and he drove a truck! There is no comparison. I hated Ponch he was a slacker! (off subject- Can a small town ,barn livin, dually drivin hetro woman be a Dust Bunny? I love that title! God I hope I didn't make a fool of myself I still learnin keep the lessons comin Sam.)
Also we must add Lee Majors and that all to cute wink, either as the 6 million$ man or as Heath on Big Valley.- and Leif Garrett and that blonde hair! What the heck? Don't make me make me post again or it's on :-P
Don't make me bring up Randolf Mantooth form Emergency 51 or Kent McCord from Adam-12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May I introduce...

While preforming my Sat.ritual domestic diva duties in which so far I have managed to suck up a entire roll(Double roll wouldn't ya know) of toilet paper right off the holder with the hose attachment on the vac due to not focusing where said hose attachment was pointed while the darn thing was running because, I was lecturing the cats on why Mommy doesn't like it when they hack up hairballs on my carpet. I have also managed to let the sink over fill because I was again lecturing the cats on why their little special needs selves are going to be outdoor cats if they knock over the trash can one more time on to my freshly waxed kitchen floor. and I have to this point have only manged to get one load of linens in the washer and had to shake the dog out of the linen as she was so nicely tucked into the sheets, before she went into the washer with them. Anyway I had a Crap on a Cracker moment.
I forgot in this morning post to introduce.
Itty Bitty Kitty_

She was a barn kitten for about 2 weeks then one day we go out the and she is swollen all over. We think the fire ants got her. So for about a month we nursed her back to health having to open and constantly drain her wounds. She didn't walk until about three months she just kinda drug herself and since she couldn't get to the litter box my bedroom floor was covered in towels and to this day it is a hit or miss if she will use the box so therefore the bedroom is covered in disposable rugs. Her other attributes are that because of all the wounds her joints are fused so she walks like a rabbit. and last but not least She is a He. She developed really slow so it wasn't until she was about 6 months old that one day I asked the Critter to look at what I thought was some more swelling and that I wondered if we should take her back to the vet. Well that wasn't swelling and She is a He and we can't seem to break ourselves of referring to Bitty as "Her". Bitty has convinced Twinkie that she is a cat not a dog. and Bitty is the funniest darn cat you will ever meet. For those of you who know about LOL cats and the IBCC she is no longer on the committee but is Chairman (Chairperson)of the Board.

Back to cleaning.

May

May is just around the corner!!!! I have several reasons that I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of this glorious month. (no specific order)
2 weeks people, 2 weeks. Vacation request signed, sealed approved!
Credit balance report should be complete
NO MORE CHILD SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warm weather ,but not to warm
Barn will be almost complete
Vacation to the Northwest (Critter and I on the open road visiting every Marriott)
Come on May!!!

My boss was at work all last week. He didn't have to do his Chemo. he is still pretty weak but, he had a couple of really good days and having him there is great. I have missed him. I have been trying to do 9 jobs plus mine so don't ya know my work week was crazy.

Critter's vacation is coming to an end. The weather this week has been erratic and the winds are insane. We had a chuckle awhile ago because the weather next week will be great and just in time for him to return to the office.

We found the plumbing fixtures for the barn last night. Yes, date night consisted of us wandering the isles of of home improvement center. We have agreed on rubbed bronze for the entire barn.

A Horse

When I was a kid I use to pretend our BBQ pit was a horse. I had a blanket, reins and everything. His name was Silver. Silver was a 74 model. very stout about 12 hands. Now- that I think about him he was really a 55 gallon barrel on legs. Man, what an easy keeper! I never remember having a hard time catching him and I don't recall if he ever saw the farrier. Dad did replace a leg a time or two though.
I have always loved horseflesh and today Critter and I own three of these heavenly creatures. If you don't own a horse or never been around one. Think long and hard before getting ya one. If you do decide to go forth be prepared. here are some things to consider.
* Always have your banker on call
* Be prepared for the outrageous cost of dead grass ( We horse folks call it hay)
* Pedicures are now for the horse not you.(Every 8 weeks and break out the checkbook)
* Always tip your farrier( Horse Manicurist) and remember them @ holidays. A good farrier is worth their weight in gold
*Your vehicle will now be more geared toward the horse (A Mita just wont do the trick)
*Your children (as they will become known) will need clothes so buy you winter blankets in summer you will save a ton. they will need socks (Sport boots, leg wraps, shipping boots, fly boots)
*Hair condition for your baby will be chosen more carefully than you do for your own head
*If you don't know much about supplements You will.
*Finding a babysitter for the kids when you want to go on vacation is quite the ordeal
*Grocery shopping for the kids will require a dolly, not a buggy
*Check-ups and vaccination's for the kids are a must ( remember your vet on the holidays) bring the banker on dr. visit day
*You will never experience a greater joy and the unconditional love in life.

Meet Pickles (The one in front with the blaze)- Pic for short. My bay mare I love her. She knows she is a looker and she hates it if you work another horse and not her.She has the most beautiful gait. She opens truck doors, she is a thief if you leave your window down and your purse in reach. She will eat your BBQ sandwich if your aren't looking. She loves to make Critter mad. She is a instigator, sweetie pie, bully, and she is my beautiful, spirited mare. My Pic. I named her after my Mom

Confessions

I have a confession. I am a middle aged woman with a cousin. Not just any kind of run of the mill- see you at the next reunion" kind of cousin but, a full blown "Man I love you!" kind of cousin. and wouldn't ya know it he is a trucker.
I hold a deep soft spot for truckers, Peterbilts, gear shifts, doghouses, CB's, diesel fuel and all things on 18 wheels. I would like to introduce you to my Dad.-Dad was a trucker. I had the best Dad in the world. I know you think yours is great but my Dad was great! He was fair and strong and bigger than life. Mom and him raised 4 girls and a boy and Mom and him were married 43 years. I could not have prayed for better parents. He was always a trucker. He use to take me on the road with him and I remember each and every time we took off down the highway. It was a blast! I lost my Dad in 04 to heart failure and to say I miss him would be an understatement. I think about him everyday when I am on the interstate by all the trucks. The picture was taken when he was in his late 40's. I love the picture. I assuredly will blog more about my Dad but I get back to my cousin now.
He is 8 million feet tall, balding(yes, I said it) and the funniest guy you could ever want to meet and yes lucky for you he has a blog. I highly suggest you take a peak. http://frediemikeal.blogspot.com/
Now if you read this blog and think "Mental illness must run in her family" That has never been proven and he is a cousin not a sibling so the mental part is on his side.
Freddie Mikeal, I love you man! Don't stop bloggin!!!!!!!!!!!!

the barn

I'm gonna cheat here and tell ya to look at the barn pics on Critter's blog. Go to Little Farm in Italy.
A coworker came up with an idea. I'm gonna have a painting party and I would love everyone to fly/drive in for the event. I will whip up some Vienna Sausage and Kool-Aide for refreshments. I know we will have a blast. Hey, I will even supply the paint and rollers. If you don't show up that will mean I will have to paint the entire barn by myself. Just let me know what weekend is good for you.

Well, you want more than Vienna's and Kool-Aide you say? OK, I will go all out and pick up some fried pork skins too. Now, if that doesn't get all you bloggers on a plane and in a car I just don't know what to do.

Did I tell ya we have a pool? and you can take a swim if it gets to warm? Swim at your own risk. We can't afford a lifeguard as we are building a barn.

Thats alot of screws! anyway I am ready to move already and be with the babies on a full time basis. I will put up some pictures when I get home. IAM SOOOOOOO excited! can ya tell?

Big Bang

What an awesome VD. The Critter and I had a great day we went out for a nice dinner and then did some browsing. Critter hates to go wandering aimlessly through Mecca or any other store that does not contain 99% hardware. It's always a special day when he will do this with me. So last night we got the first season of BIG BANG THEORY if you haven't seen this sitcom, you are missing out. We watched the 13 episodes last night. What did we get each other for the lovers holiday? Well, I got Critter his new pie plate and I get the batter blaster. Great gifts huh? The great thing about him and I, neither one of us is high maintenance and it's the simple things that make us happy. We are a good fit.
Oh! did I ever tell you how we met? We hooked up through Match. Com. I did it because I was a workaholic (now recovered) and the bar since has never been my thing and when you work in the nursing home industry a majority of the people you meet are usually 40 years older than yourself and I wasn't looking for a Grandpa figure to date. So, we met on the Internet and then a face to face at Starbucks. He always tells me of the story that when we met he couldn't believe how much I paid for a cup of coffee and our dates usually consisted of loitering in the Barnes and Nobles parking lot. Told ya we are low maintenance.

Meet Little Dude.---We have had him 3 years. He was an Anniversary gift (told ya we are low maintenance)He is one Special Cat. He survived Parvo and he was a stray when the rescue foundation got him. We were in the pet store on our4th anniversary and we came across this blue- eyed gent He can't keep his balance to well and every time he sleeps he has seizures. Our house is geared for his comfort. I have purchased about a million comforters because he shreds them if he is sleeping on the bed and has a seizure. I have scars all over me where he has got his claws into me while I was sleeping and he had a seizure next to me. it's ok though hes my Little Dude and it is a small price to pay for having such a loving little guy.

My own fitness and health business?

I just looked at the corner of my desk and had to do a double take at my breakfast. I think, I should run a health club and give nutrition advise. Don't you agree? Yes, I drink coffee from a glass.
Breakfast consists of- Dr.Pepper,Red Bull, Pastry from the vending machine, Coffee in a glass stirred with a straw about 4 million grams of sugar and I don't have a clue how much caffeine I am pushing.

Critter made a very keen observation this morning. Local news media are desperate and live up to the Don Henley song Dirty Laundry.- The plane crash this morning where sadly there were no survivors. The local media was out at DFW interviewing people about to get on a flight and was asking them what they felt about the story and if they are nervous about getting on the plane. Someone please tell me how stupid and desperate are these stations to do this?

You don't get to meet a family member today due to the fact I need to snap some more pics.

Happy weekend!

Na,Na,Na,Na,Na Na

Guess who got their own marked parking spot today at work? Oh, Yea me baby! I got me one of those high faluten positions where you get your own space. Work is insane lately, IT guy and I are becoming steadfast friends. My computer has has been in the throws of some kind of illness for the last 3 days and my frustration with it is at a maximum but IT guys promises me that it will be OK. Yea, IT guy we'll see, we just see.
I'm sitting here blogging and the Critter is yelling and cursing at the guy on This Ole House. says he is an idiot. It is hard when you live with a master tradesman :-) Critter is home next week and he will be putting the skin and roof on the barn I can't wait. The barn is coming together. Soon it will be time for picking out plumbing and lighting and all the other goodies. I am so stumped on a bathroom vanity I really want the unexpected. Gonna have a party come summer!!!

Meet Zy- This is Critter's horse we have had him a little over a year. He is a .. Well I am not sure just what he is besides funny. He is afraid of rocks and trees. They scare the heck out of him. He does really well though when Critter is riding him . I must admit he is pretty sweet. I am not allowed to "baby talk" him since hes Critter's but I do when the Critter isn't around.

Hey Garlic Man. I'm waiting for you to start your blog :-) Come on ya know ya wanna.

This award comes with the obilagatin you will post 10 truths about yourself that are not known and then tag two others.
Well, here goes -
*** I just kinda took this award so I would have another and my other award would not be so lonely
****the fact my stepkids treat me poorly really hurts my feelings when I have done nothing to hurt them.
**** I despise people who use others and lie and won't accept responsibility for their own actions
**** I do not fart and am repulsed when people do and think it's funny
**** I can't type or spell and I know it!
**** My biggest fear is losing more of my sibilings, mother, husband
or child
**** My grown dtr and I don't speak and it hurts me
**** My sister was murdered in 1996
**** I wish we had the money to fix my teeth.
**** Everytime I look at Critter, I melt
**** I never really knew God until the day my sister died. *I miss her and my Dad so much that I am crying now just thinking about them.

OK --Sam at http://frediemikeal.blogspot.com/
Kel at http://girlintheglasses.blogspot.com/

I am not the Columbus here.

This will be a blog addressing many issues but hopefully it won't be to long.
* *Kimber over at I Know Right posted a diddy about this product today. I have never even seen it before but, I will sing it's praise. It is no secret I do not cook, I don't know how. It is not something I want to learn to do to be a perfect homemaker. I did learn how to turn on our oven 2 years ago and I still have doubts if I am doing it right. I am not impressed with pictures of your dinner on your blog. If you cook that's great for you. Food consumption and presentation just isn't that big of a deal to me. I am married to a wonderful cook and he really enjoys doing it and I do the dishes afterward and we are happy. I cannot make pancakes even from a box no matter how hard I try. The science of water to mix has always eluded me( Yes, I know how to read directions!) anyway this could be the perfect solution for persons such as myself. Oh, Yes I think this is a wonderful idea.
Garlic Man, to answer your question I can't think of any food that wouldn't be great shot out of a can!
Kimber, Yes we have a natural gas stove top. I guess it is a good thing that if this aerosol thing ever did catch on we have a wonderful homeowner insurance policy :-)

** I work in the nursing home industry and we all had a giggle today. If you don't now, you will when you get older talk incessantly about your bowel movements in public, over lunch, while your working, when you talk to loved ones over the phone, really just about anytime and anywhere this topic of defication and the consistency, regularity and the act itself will be discussed you will even seek advise on difficulties your having and will even give advise on what works. I'm just letting you know that honestly, that everyone does talk about this activity so feel free to ask advise if you need to.(just not from me)

** Critter and I have been talking about the fact that if someone does something nice for you and you post such "thank yous" on your blog that's nice just remember that you can very easily offend others who have done things for you and have not publicly thanked them. I speak of gifts for your children in which we did not shop at Wally-hell for these gifts. in fact since it seems to be about money . We spent about $500.00 on said gifts and alot of thought went into each item that was purchased. We also are not blind to the fact if money is what you want you have no problem asking and will physically make an appearance if we say yes, but if not you are no where to be found or cannot drive this far. but will drive twice as far to someone who will give it to you. Yes, our feeling are very hurt and it probably doesn't matter a hill of beans to you but it does to us. also if money is not a big deal you can payback all the money you "borrowed" because we sure could use it and we gave it to you when you "needed" it. about $700.00 If my blog offends you stop reading it. and if the truth of how we feel upsets you or you feel we are wrong let us know.We are proud of you and you have cahnged for the better. Its just that somethings are just the same and haven't changed at all.(yes, Critter read this before I posted this and agrees)

**Time to meet another member of the family- Dash

he is emotionally disturbed. He does not like ANYONE but the Critter and I. My mom stayed for 3 weeks when I had my surgery and she never saw him. People don't even realize we have 3 cats. When we got him he we thought he was brown but, he was actually covered in fleas. so we bathed and shaved him. Since we are not big fans of cat hair and he is along hair. We continue shave him. He dosent mind, he stays still the whole time. I think he enjoys it.

Drama!!!

Call 911! there is an emergency in the house. Critter's beloved pie plate broke. We had a brief memorial service for the plate before it went to sleep with the fishes. No he wasn't baking pies. Get this, Critter will only eat his dinner off a Pyrex pie plate. He says it has high sides and the food can't get away. I will not let him eat from this plate when we have guest but as much as I hate the fact he won't eat from a plate and his pie plate is a substitute "Wubby" I just gave up on this one. Ya know sometimes, you have to pick your battles.

May I introduce another member of our household- CD
He is my big ole man, about 21 yrs old.He is an old ranch horse I got after I broke my back. This horse is truly bombproof he is the most sweet and gentle horse ever. He has a bad tendon on his back leg so ranching is not on his agenda any more. We just take nice long walks and he is perfect. Once I let the Critter ride him and even let him get into a sprint. He has Jet packs for back legs. He is gorgeous when he is in his full stride. I LOVE MY BIG OLE MAN!

no speak-a-da-spanish

We are well and good here in the Scrappy/ Critter household. I worked all day and now it's time to kick back and wait the anticipation of Mon.
You know with the new digital tv thing people without advanced technology are supposed to get additional channels and better reception. Well, People the govt. is lying to you!
Critter and I have no cable, no dish, no home phone. Before the magic box we got 12 English channels. Now with the new improved way to go. We now get 7 English channels and 654 Spanish channels. No Espanol spoken here. WTH?
I tell you this because this means no more AMERICAN DAD or FAMILY GUY for me and I am bummed :-( I know you're shocked that I could watch such "low brow" television.
What can I say ? I warned you I wasn't "NORMAL" and I need a break from reality every once in awhile and a talking dog and an alien are just the ticket. Plus I have no cable remember?

I have decided to introduce you to each member of the family. One at a time so up first is -Twinkie
This is the sweet little ,lovable, crack addict, kitty poop eater, kleptomaniac, on 24/7 (because I don't know where the batteries are) speed demon, bully.
Critter brought her home one day saying that her life was in our hands and if I didn't agree to take her she would die.
I DID NOT want another animal much less a dog but look where she sits.
This dog that Critter wanted as a farm dog. Yes, a farm dog! to ride around in the truck with him and to keep livestock in line kind of farm dog. Well, let me tell ya she ain't NO farm dog. She is a spoiled thing that won't go near the Critter unless he gets her out of her kennel or I hand her to him. Anyway, this is our Twinkie isn't she cute?

UH OH!

Not to steal the title from one of my favorite authors, or those all to lovable Teletubbies. but Uh Oh! Critter is sick.

Now, don't jump to conclusions and blame me because if you recall he let me basically lay in the remnants of my Mon. lunch until Wed. Yes, he did go get my prescriptions and got me 3 beverages, two orange Push Ups other than I was on my own.

Now again, don't jump to any conclusions. understand that with just the 2 of us we cant both be sick. We have what some times feels like half of Noah's Ark to take care of. So it's not like we dont care.

The funny thing well not really funny ha ha, but funny strange he has a cold/upper respiratory thing and as you know mine was more of a "Linda Blair kinda thing" so I am not to blame here.
Well, Critter is a crabby patty when he does'nt feel well so, I did my part in returning the TLC.

After a full day at work. I stopped fed the horses, collected the mail, and bought all the NYQUILL Lqui-gels the convience store had to offer and a liter of 7-up. I came home to the most pitiful lookin guy.

Don't worry I took care of my man and the house. I fed the cats, took the dog out,fed the dog and I pumped my sweet hubby full of Nyquill and 7-up (he had already fixed himself chicken soup) and made sure he was cozy in bed, so I could blog.

Happy Weekend

Here is to your good health!

Theme from Rocky now playing

I actually showered this afternoon and I am seriously considering eating. It's a miracle I'm back from the brink, just in time. My poor Dash kitty has been walking around with dried poop on his butt for heaven only knows how long. I think the dog has been surviving on cat food and my 7-up. I am headed to work in the morning and looking forward to it.
I read my previous entries. People who love people, should not let them blog when they have a 102 degree fever.

Raw and Uncut

I made it to the shower today! There was evidence of Mondays lunch in my hair! I think my secret solid gave out hours/days ago. I took off the clothes I wore to work on Mon. I think today is Wed. I think I went out of the house looking like that yesterday. I think am suffering from delirium. My clothes are on inside out. I think I heard the cat speaking English to me. Who will clean and repaint the bathroom? Critter says he doesn't feel so good, Why do cats and dogs not catch this crap? I think Howard Hughes had a good idea going.
I know I got this crap from my trip to Wallyhell!

Tuesday, February 3, 2009

The Ompalompa is down.

Last night after watching Saw 4, I told Critter my stomach felt funny. I was just thinking the movie made me queasy. At 11:30 I found out it wasn't the movie. I will probably have to repaint the bathroom because things that happened in there last night I didn't realize were humanly possible. I decided not to post any pictures.
I have been diagnosed officially and it cost me 75 bucks. I have been stricken by the flu. I slept all day it took everything I had to get to the doctor. I haven't showered since yesterday and can you believe I went to the doctor with no bra and in house shoes. Does that tell ya how bad I feel. Thank goodness I live in a small town.

Zippie bag?

My life is a flurry of excitement and adventure. Why, just today I went to Wally-Hell on my lunch hour to get Critter some new socks and even picked up a new DVD. I found a dime in the parking lot.and I spent most of my work day on the phone with every IT person on the face of this earth and Bonus! I understood every word they said.

So with the new socks and panties I got the Critter. Yes, I call his underwears panties. The tubesocks I purchased came in a resealable bag. Why the hell is this necessary?

I will not get political but one cause of our economy is Walmart and there need to outsource and drive away the American small businessman. (Rubbermaid for example)Yes, we would pay more for goods but at the same time we would have jobs with wages and benefits that we could afford such things.

There are so many things I don't understand about this store and why do more than half of the patrons look like they should be on the What not to wear side of the magazine article. People in pajama pants in the middle of the day. What is going on here. I am not a fashionista by any means I do however try to dress somewhat like I am not headed to bed.

I have very strong feelings about Walmart. I HATE IT! I hate the fact that out here where I live I have to drive a 50 miles to get out of Wally country to get to Mecca or any other retail outlet that the patrons are not something out of Deliverance. I swear I heard the term "baby daddy"3 times while I was in there. This is what is wrong with America.
I just hate that store and if one more person runs over me with their basket. You will see me on the evening news. I will be the one in cuffs not wearing my pajamas.

I have gotten several E mails and comments wanting to know why a person would want to live in a barn so I will shed some more light on the subject.

In 2005 we bought 10 acres so my one horse at the time would have somewhere safe and controllable to be. We stabled her for almost 2 years and the nightmare stories I could tell ya.
we also had 2 donkeys living in our backyard here in town.

We bought the house in town in 2003 not knowing the nightmares of stabling a horse. We have talked about moving out to the farm since we got it. actually, when we bought it it was just grassland. We put up a fence, a barn -the same barn 3 times (winds are hell out here) and we just want to be out there with our babies.

We got water last year and Electric this past fall so now, Critter is working on the barn where we will live on one side and the stalls on the other.

A big plus for living in a barn is property tax is way cheaper.

We won't have a mortgage

We will only have utilities to pay

Now at the age of 41 with no mortgage and living next to my babies, I think is the way to go.

We are hoping to be out of the Main St. house and on the farm by Oct 09

Now, you are asking "Why not pay someone to build the barn?". because, this barn while being made from new and reclaimed materials will come with no sort of loan or payment plan.

We are doing it slow and piece by piece as to avoid any type of loan.

The big expense we are looking at is a septic system 7,000.00 basically a box buried in the ground where the poop goes the it is broken down in water form and that waters the yard. Gross Huh? but that's what they are and we have to have one if I want to avoid using the truck stop bathroom. Yes, We live by a truck stop and rest area. (middle of Nowhere)

anyway that's the deal on the barn I hope that helps clear things up.

The picture is of the perfect floor.I think it will look great! Picking a front door is harder than I thought it would be.
