Road Trip!!!!

Road Trip comin
I know this post will make me sound like some kind of lonely, sad , old cat lady but Critter is also excited so that makes us a lonely, old, creature couple.
I was scanning the Black Friday ads and saw that each Sears will have 4 sets of these beauties pictured above for 55% OFF!
I start to drool over this add, because as you now know-Critter and I are buying everything new for the barn house. The only thing we are taking is family pics- New bed, bedding, appliances, silverware, coffee pot, towels and on and on The washer alone is a $1000.00
Critter and I talked about how it would be nice to get these bad boys and alas the light bulb clicks on!
I made a phone call and have secured our very own set and no waiting in line
Road Trip!!!!!!
Critter and I now own this lovely pair and at on heck of a lovely price !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, we must be old cuz we are excited about our new washer and dryer

Due to my lack of focus and imagination of a blog ideas I am going to interview myself today. I will ask the questions to myself (in my head) and type the answers.

What's Up Scrappy? Vol. 43

Mornin folks,
It is 6:30 am on a Sun. and I have no clue why in the world I am awake and bloggin but o well.
It was a wild week for me coming back from my staycation. My desk at work is no longer visible from all the wk I have to catch up on.
Critter has done alot of work at the farm. The living room is painted and put up the lights. He is working on the window casings and crown moulding now. I am on a mission to find the perfect new couch for the new house. Pictures later

Got all my plans for Thanksgiving. Critter and I will be hosting dinner here at the house. I am so excited!! All the family is coming !!!

Now on to a few moans and groans
(don't send me hate mail this is my opinion and my blog so just turn away if it gets to ugly for ya)
I wanted to get the swine flu shot but unless you are poor and uninsured here in Texas well, you are not worthy. So, if you are a insured middle class citizen You are on your own. WTF??

This so called town I live in just passed a vote that will drive this town further into the ground. You can now buy beer and wine here. Way to go fat butt mayor and city council! We have a huge crime and drug problem already-Good thing Y'all had the insight to add fuel to the fire

What is up with all the shootings lately? Are we as humans just losing all since of reality and morale compass? My heart aches for all those innocent people.

Speaking of whack jobs- As you might know I went back to a public profile and just as y'all told me. Selma aka Attila is back snooping.
Yea Attila, I am happy and so is Randall and we have a great relationship
(Ya know, the exact oppsite of what you are and who you are not married to and what you don't have because the way you treat people) Are so stupid to think I don't know it's you?(Of course you are!)
You are a loser! Hell, become a follower! Leave comments! You piece of _______!

Well this concludes todays sesssion of What's Up Scrappy?

Did I tell you Critter tried to kill me?

Critter restored a tractor just like this one a few years ago and this is the workhorse of the farm.
Well, to maintain a tractor born in 1949 it takes work and money and parts that can't be picked up at your local store. The brakes went out on the tractor and it's not a big deal because you can ride the clutch thingy and it will come to a slow stop and we have no hills at the farm so no big deal.
Our farm is about a mile from our house in town and we have on occasion driven the tractor home by way of the back roads. The back road has one of those old one car width wooden bridges that goes over a small creek. The bridge is located on a curve and steep hill and on a blind corner.
So last year, I was helping Critter out and drove the tractor home. He didn't know that I was bringing it home and I didn't think to much about it. THAT IS UNTIL-
I was headed down the hill onto the scary ass bridge at about 25 miles an hour on a tractor that has no power steering and NO BRAKES!
Critter didn't think it all that important to tell me the brakes had gone out.
He now says you can drive that bridge at night and can still hear screams of a woman cursing like a sailor and little girl all at the same time.

Hodge Podge

One of these things is not like the other LOL Me and my mare Pic gettin in a family picture

I'm a Long Tall Texan :-).

I am on staycation. just doin whatever strikes me fancy :-)
We found out the house is for sale and the price is 2 MILLION!!! it does come with a hundred acres. A little to much land and a bit out of my price range:-(
House/Barn building has slowed a bit due to all the rain. Our road was washed out so we have to do road repair before working on the house.
I bought a $130 worth of cookie dough from a kid selling for the school district. ( Ya know when ya send your kid to my driveway saying can u buy something to help fund our trip?) Well, I did and the deadbeat kid only brought me half my stuff and said she would be back the next day with the rest. That was a week ago!! O Yea I will be calling the school tomorrow. I had planned to make the dough, gifts to some folks.
I got a new Netbook and I am still trying to get used to it. I am sorry about all the lurking on everyone's blogs and not leaving comments but I am trying to get used to this sensitive mouse pad
Hope yall have a great evening
Scrappy
