Would you?
Would you buy a house where a murder took place????? The subject came up of a farmhouse where such a tragic event happened and the house is for sale. Would you buy it ???? Do you believe in hauntings??????
I'd buy one, and I don't believe in hauntings. I've heard a lot of ghost stories, of course, like everyone has, but until it happens to me, I will have a difficult time believing in ghosts. :)
Dixie, on 60acres, long driveway and remodeled old farmhouse. I myself don't believe in the ghosties. Did I ever tell ya our house in town backs up to a graveyard? The neighbors are soooo quite :-}
yes, I believe in ghosts. We lived in a haunted house for 13 years. It was not a mean poltergeist, but it did several things that could not be explained!
Several years ago, I sat on a jury for a murder trial. Every time I drive past the house where it took place, I wonder how anyone could live there if they know the history. The house we're in now was the scene of a violent domestic dispute--I've got pockmarks from the buckshot in the main bathroom tile to prove it! I was a little worried when it came time for the husband to be released from jail, but he hasn't bothered us.
I'd love to live in a house where a murder happened! Especially if the victim was my MIL! Kidding! (kind of)
I don't believe in hauntings, and all other things being equal, I'd buy the murder house. And if it turned out I was wrong? I'd write a book or sell the movie rights and move out...
Tough one! Remodeled you say...so no bloodstains or bullet holes, right? Still....? I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in spirits. Does that make sense? Tell me, have you seen any moving lights inside the house or heard sounds? I'm just kidding you. I think? Debbie
I believe in ghosts and hauntings ..I also believe that negative energy stays behind when something violent happens. I am not sure at all I would be comfortable living in a house where a murder happened. If not just for the creepy factor, but because I think that negative tends to cling to places.
I believe in ghosts and hauntings but not sure I believe all the pranks people say they pull. My only objection to living in a house of murder would be any lingering smell or blood spatter. Ew.
It would all depend on the feeling when I was in the house the first time. I listen to feelings and if that sounds weird so be it but it has kept me out of trouble more than a few times. So living in a house where a murder happened could be a possibility.
#1 No... I don't believe in hauntings.. and
ReplyDelete#2 No... I wouldn't buy a house where someone was murdered... (just in case I'm wrong about #1)!
hugs. Dixie

Matt, I am with ya on that.
ReplyDeleteNope, not me! I think I would have to pass on a murder. I tend to believe in negative energy and that is some I would have to skip.
