Can you hear that???

It is my heart pounding.
I came home after a VERY LONG STRESSFUL day, and I am in the driveway with my IPOD, ear buds in place.
The music blaring to wash away the day
Critter pulls into the driveway.
He gets out of his truck and I put an ear bud in his ear and hit play.
We danced in the driveway to Don Williams -I Believe In You.
My heart is still pounding just thinking about him and our slow dance.
I am a VERY BLESSED woman!!!

  1. I think that is the most romantic thing I have heard lately. I'm so glad I had my glasses on so I could hear all of it. Now that song is in my head for the rest of the night and since Cat Daddy doesn't do-si-do anymore, I guess I'll just have to do my chair dance alone! (Don't even go there!!!)

  7. Sorry you had a bad day, but isn't it wonderful to have someone to come home to who can make it all better? My sweetie and I have been caught dancing in the kitchen, in the garage, and in the driveway. Nothing like a little cheek to cheek sometimes.

  9. Hi Scrappy! Thanks for stoppin by to visit! I'll be greatly interested to see your barn/house! Looks like it's coming along just fine. What are you going to do with all your "stuff" that won't fit? =o) Me either. I guess I'll give the kids their stuff, sell some other stuff, give some stuff to goodwill, or maybe just have a big bonfire and burn what won't fit!

  10. A long time ago in a different marriage I thought that all couples looked beautiful and shiney in public and then went back home and all hell ensued. I was raised in that environment and I married into that environment and I knew no better. After my seventeen year marriage ended because he was having an affair with a secretary I begged him not to hire my girlfriends tried to set me up with a guy and I said no thank you. Two weeks later I met this guy all on my own and it has been fabulous ever since.

I am glad that you have the love and magic that I have, too. I get goosebumps on my arms when I think of him and I would follow him right of the edge of the earth. How do I know? Because sometimes I follow him to the end of the driveway.

I feel sorry for everyone that isn't us.

I didn't mean to hi-jack your comment section and accidentally write an entire post over here but you wrote so eloquently about true and simple love.

    Congratulations, it feels awesome. Right?
