It's probaly the heat

I am just a bit annoyed by things of a trivial nature.

People take those Christmas lights down and put the yard reindeer away. PLEASE!
(I know you think what is the point now because we are so close to Christmas.
WE AIN'T that close.!!)
People, stop blowing your lawn clippings in my yard. I know you saw me just get my yard all trimmed and pretty as I usually do on a very regular basis. (Pride in your home is what my Dad always taught me) Then here you come at 9 pm trying to cut down your 12ft tall grass that you haven't mowed in FOREVER! and you blow your clippings in MY YARD!!! Give it a rest already. It is just inconsiderate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and by the way so are all your leaves in my yard each fall!

Tomorrow is Sun. and we have a new pastor at our church.
I will be there to hopefully, hearing a sermon on how to be a better neighbor or how to be more tolerant.

have a good day:-)

  1. aah yes, sounds familiar. I lived in Texas 62 years. The hot summers make you a little on the testy side. People who haven't lived there don't understand that.

When I would look out and see the heat shimmering in the air I knew tempers were going to fly that day.

  2. I can see the heat helped you a lot.
You continue to make me laugh.
Hang in there! (or for god's sake, find a pool and chill out!) I would hate the kind of heat you are enduring, for sure...and I wouldn't be funny either.

  3. Scrappy... you and my Ricky would get along just great... our neighbor down the road mows his bar ditch and all the clippings end up in the road... it drives Ricky crazy... (I mean the guy has got 7 acres... you'd think he could keep the clipping in his own space!)

    try to keep cool... ;)
