I love Halloween. This time of year I only watch scary movies and read "true" ghost stories.
I don't get scared easily and I don't believe in ghost and ghoulies. I would stay in a so called haunted house. Curiosity would be my motivation other than belief. The other thing that really gets me in the mood is the cemetery which is less than 50 yards from my bedroom window.
Basically, we have a graveyard in the backyard. I love our neighbors. They are very quite and never come knocking on my door trying to sell me something.
When our house was on the market a couple of years ago I really was surprised how many people were freaked out by it.
After I had my back surgery and needed to do some walking. Mom and I would go walking through there reading all the stones. The oldest stone is from 1845.
All this scary movie watching and ghost stories has got my Critter on edge. He is not a fan. They give him the creepies but, somehow the graveyard doesn't bother him. Go figure.
So tonight will will watch the Omen. Last night we watched Exorcism of Emily Rose.
If you have seen it - Remember when the woman keeps waking up a 3am? Guess who woke up at 3 this morning and was totally freaked out?
You are sooooo funny... My dad loved scary movies when I was a kid, so he would take us to see them at the drive-in nearly every weekend... the drive-in was right next to a cemetary... to which Dad would always say...
ReplyDelete"you know people are just dying to get in there"... I can't pass a cemetary now, without those words ringing in my head... hehehehe... don't be scared now.. you've got your critters...and your Critter.
I absolutely LOVE horror movies! Vic however, does not and yet she'll still sit there with me and watch them..lol
ReplyDeleteGood sport, Critter!! :)
haha Isn't it funny how some folks like spook shows and others get freaked out. Walking through the old cemetery sounds relaxing... maybe Critter will go with...
ReplyDeleteI adore scary movies...not the slasher ones, but the creepy ones. C.D. does not...he doesn't even like for me to sneak up on him...what a girl!
