If you knew me you would not be surprised.
I buy my gifts early each year for Christmas and give them at Thanksgiving.
My gifts are always themed around my Logo the "WJ".
It's my way to keep my dad and sister alive and in the gift giving broo-haha.
"Why is that Scrappy?"
Well, because I know of a personal instance that a gift was bought and wrapped for someone just waiting for Christmas to roll around so it could be given on the happy holiday.
The gift giver had past away and in the process of going through the belongings of the deceased the gift was found.
I found it so sad. It was a great gift and the person, I am sure would have loved the reaction it would have gotten upon being opened in their presence. Instead, it was a somber occasion.
So yours truly will never have a wrapped gift waiting for you. Yes, I will buy a gift. Yes, I will wrap the gift. However, you will unwrap it about 2 minuets after I wrap it.
I will see you expression and we will be happy.
"So why at Thanksgiving Scrappy?"
Because I don't care for shopping crowds and you will probably be at your other relatives on Christmas. SO Merry Christmas on the last Thursday in November!
"So why bring this up today Scrappy?"
Well, Critter's B-day is Oct 16 and I bought and wrapped his gifts last night.
Guess who opened their B-day gifts last night???

omg..you sound just like Vic, she buys me gifts for bdays, Christmas, Easter..etc and then proceeds to ask me almost on an hourly basis-- "are you SURE you don't want your gift right now?" and its the same song and dance, I refuse, she pleads for me to open it and then I give in..and we both laugh afterward and it's good for all..lol
