Oh no not that!! Revised**

I work in the medical field. No real medical task in my job description but, I do work in the vicinity of patients.
I have the fabulous and always envied position of billing. Well, after years of this type of cliffhanger danger kind of work, I have decided there are just a few illness that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (Well, there is one person. She has been a thorn in my side for 7 years now. That is a whole other blog in itself) just for the name itself. I don't even know the full ugly effects of some of these illness. The name is what makes me want to pull a Howard Hughes and walk around with Kleenex boxes on my feet. I often wonder who thought up these names and did he/she have a colleague that agreed with he/she and were they drunk while naming the condition?
Here's my list-
The Gout
Hoof and Mouth disease (I actually know what this one is)
Hammertoe
Goiter
(not sure if its a condition or body part just cant stand the word)
Ringworm or Scabies (EEWWW scary bugs and horrible name)
The Gout (yes, I listed twice just really don't want it what ever it is)
Rickets (sounds like a twisted kind of game)****
Scurvy (some kind of filthy dog comes to mind)***
Jock Itch

So what do ya think ,should the list grow? Got any other ones for me?

Hey speaking of freaky medical conditions I just saw on the news Michael Jackson is having a garage sale. That would be really scary to see just what he has to offer up for the Sat. morning bargain hunters.

*** Oh No! garage sale may be on hold MJ has filed a lawsuit against the garage sale organizer. I say we should all road trip up there. The people watching alone would be worth the gas!

  2. Oh, too funny! No, I do not want the gout or hammertoe either!
And Michael Jackson's garage sale?! As a full-on garage sale freak, I assure you that if I were anywhere near that one I'd be there. Can you imagine what kind of weirdness is reasonably priced?!

  3. I was going to just stop by and say thank you for your kind words and so I'll do that first. Thank you so much!
Of course then I read this post and got right tickled! If you go to MJ's garage sale, I'm sure you could stock up on face masks. And let's not forget those two favorite maladies..rickets and scurvy! Can you imagine?
