My daughter is 23 today
Wow, Makes me feel so OLD- I sent her a text and wished her Happy Day-
To say we have a distant relationship is a understatement and I wish I could change that-
I love her dearly- I have not seen her in a couple of years.
If I could change anything in my life it would be to have a close relationship with her.
I have hoped and prayed for years that things would change between us but I don't know if they ever will-
She does not understand me and I don't her and we can't seem to find a middle ground.
I can't explain everything to her that happened between me and her father.
I was simply to young to be married.
I wish I could answer all her questions but I can't and probably never will be able to.
I hope she has a great birthday and that she is enjoying her life
I wish nothing but the best for her
I LOVE YOU TASHA AND I MISS YOU!

WTH??

I woke up this morning to snow on the ground all excited and ran to look under the tree before heading off to work and WHAT!!
I gave you my list long ago and it was pretty simple- I got the email confirmation that you read my list and did I get---
1. 12 tons of gravel for the farm road
2. A nice Gelding Draft Horse (prefer a Percheron) with a life time of vet services, feed and hay
3. A promise of a wonderful hay season
4. A new set of tires for the dually
5. A aerobic septic system
6. 600 feet of electrical wiring and service to the barn
7. A sweet retirement package for Critter and I effective immediately similar to the one the big banker guy got when they were asked to step down Ya Know, The Golden Parachute
8. A farm hand that will take his pay in the pleasure of riding my horses on a regular basis and is willing to live full time in the front barn and speaks only English
9. A new tractor complete with Hay attachments , Front loader, and attachments to work on the road and full time driver willing to take his pay in the pleasure of driving my new tractor when needed
10. A Super Target store close but not to close to my farm. (Maybe within 10 miles)
11. Our house on Main St sold and the barn ready to move in by New Years Day

No! I did not find these things under my tree you big ole #$@($_!@

I even left out the Peppreridge Farm Cookies out for you - And you ate them all !!!!

I am sooooo disappointed! I want to speak to your supervisor!

Good thing my family and friends came through for me and gave me a wonderful Christmas complete with Love,and Continued good health for us all.

( O' how I do love employee questions)

"My baby daddy gonna get his refund this month and we gonna get some 20's "
(Apparently you can take your last check stub to a CASH store and they will on charge you 40% of your refund total to get your tax refund early. Man ,what a deal! I think 20's are tire rims but I am not that hip to today's culture so don't quote me)

"The Power light is not ON on the copier is that why it wont make a copy?"
( I had to get up and take a break after that question)

Ya, know how you always see just one shoe on the side of the road? Today I saw a matching pair

Worst Gift Ever!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was about 9yrs. old I got a phillips head screwdriver Not Kiddin!
A friend of the family gave it to me. wrapped up and everything. I thought naturally it came with a dirt bike or something cool but, No. A phillips head screwdriver all wrapped up in a pretty box just for me a 9 yr old kid who had no interest in tools.
This was a good friend of the family and knew me very well and for some reason thought I would enjoy a tool.
So, What was your worst gift ever??????

O Dear Lord

Remember last year when I was sick and Critter basically left me to lie in my own "illness" for 3 days and wouldn't come within 50 feet of me???
Well, Guess who has come down sick????? Yea, thats right! I threw him some cough drops from accross the room and sealed off my part of the house.
In the 9 years we have been together this is only the 2nd time I have known him to be sick. Poor Baby :-(
Don't ya know if I can catch this on film I am gonna be puttin up some very flattering pics of him LOL

Fed up with all the Tiger news? Enough already!

Headed out this afternoon to pick up our new Kenmore family members but, before I do.
I have to swing by the feed store buy a round bale and go drop it off to the kids since we wont be home in time for their breakfast. Then feed the hooved kiddies and the barn cats and kittens. we have some cute kittens there were 9 we only have 3 now and they are so cute. I try not to get attached but it's hard.
Then I have to feed the cat living on the back porch. We named him Spook and he is a sweety. It kills me that he can't come and live in the house. Then, I have to feed the cat that lives on the front porch. Hazel is also a sweety who loves to give kisses.
Then I have to let out the Crack Puppy also known as Twinkie,
Then feed the 3 cats who live in the house.
Then wait on the Critter to hook up the trailer then we are gone!
See ya in the afternoon tomorrow when we shall have all the new Stainless Steel family members home!

O did I tell ya we already had Christmas and gave our gifts on Thanksgiving ?? Celebrating Scrappy Style No ?? well tell ya about it when I get back :-)

Just a waitin

I think it is way past time for a new camera.
Don't ask me what is going on with all the white dots in the picture. Ghost people call em orbs. I just call effects from a old crappy camera
If they were Orbs I would probably think we have built the barn on a burial ground. LOL
Anyway, This is what the Critter has been done this week. He bought stained and installed the kitchen cabinets.
We are undecided about the counter tops.
We got a big white cast iron sink and we are putting a rubbed bronze tall fixture in the sink.
We are doing a tile back splash all around the counter and now we are undecided about the counter top Red, White or some type of brown. Who knows?
The flooring came in and we will be getting it some time this week. It is also a dark brown hardwood to match the cabinets.
I think that once the appliances and floor are in that it will be amazing.
Critter has so much talent.
Next big thing will be the bathroom. I am decorating it around a picture my sister gave me and it will be totally different from the rest of the house

Can you see my bay mare in the kitchen window? It will be wonderful to live with the kids just outside the door

Had the most wonderful Holiday with the family :-)
Got in the middle of the black Friday sales- Had fun
So busy at work not sure what day this is
We now have cabinets at the farm and picking up the appliances this weekend and the flooring goes in next week )-
