When I was about 9yrs. old I got a phillips head screwdriver Not Kiddin!
A friend of the family gave it to me. wrapped up and everything. I thought naturally it came with a dirt bike or something cool but, No. A phillips head screwdriver all wrapped up in a pretty box just for me a 9 yr old kid who had no interest in tools.
This was a good friend of the family and knew me very well and for some reason thought I would enjoy a tool.
So, What was your worst gift ever??????

for our first Christmas together with the baby, *this was 24 yrs ago* my then husband decided that the best Christmas gifts he would give me were, 2 sets of mini-blinds for the kitchen, an over the sink flourescent light fixture and drumroll please, a Shop Vac!!!
I was sobbing like a baby, and he was totally clueless as to why!!
OMG Kimber, That is so sad !! at least I was a kid I would kill Critter if he did that You poor thing my heart breaks for ya I think the light fixture beats the shop vac :-)

ReplyDeleteCat Daddy gave me a tee shirt one year, but when I tried it on, it was longer in front than in back. I figured out what the problem was when I saw the stork on the tag. Yeah...a maternity shirt when you're forty...what every girl dreams of...AND he bought it on clearance!

I really can't remember what my worst gift was. I'm sure I've had them, but I just can't remember. My ex-hubs gave me a desk calendar for Valentine's Day once. Does that count?
