I don't own an IPOD
I don't text I prefer to talk face to face
We don't have cable or Satellite
I have manual roll up windows on my truck
I love to send handwritten notes to friends in the mail
I don't do e-pay for my bills
I color my own hair and get it cut twice a year (so no real beauty shop chat in my life, unless you count the cat screams for food at me when I am blow drying my hair)
A big Fri night for us is going to Hastings and buying books and videos
I am moving to a farm and we think that the city we are living in a city of 3K people and one flashing light is getting to populated.
So am I out of touch?
Wait, I need to change one thing. I have an IPOD purchase on my very near future, but I now will need to learn about ITUNES I guess or does the IPOD magically know all my favorite tunes?

I don't own an IPOD, either and I've only owned a cell phone for about 6 months. I figure all the internetting I do evens it all out.
ReplyDeleteMy deepest sympathies on some of your list. ha

Cuz, if you didn't know I own all the latest, and supposedly greatest electronic toys with my blackberry storm being the newest. About the Ipod purchase, call me before you buy one. There are several different ones, and maybe I can help you pick out the one that will suit you best.
ReplyDeleteOnly with reality, sweetie, only with reality!

Hi Scrappy,
ReplyDeleteMy 89 yr old mother-in-law had a PC before me!
I don't own an IPOD either.
I don't text.
We don't have cable/satellite.
I drive a van and would have manual roll up windows if they were available.
I love to receive handwritten notes.
I don't do e-pay for my bills.
I have a little hair.
A big Saturday night for us is going to Jacksboro, eating at the "Green Frog" and/or watching the dust settle.
I am planning on moving to a farm/ranch town (population 4533) with two traffic lights when the wife retires.
So Scrappy,
You aren't out of touch with anything... you and Critter are the salt of the earth and the type of people everyone wishes lived next door... good neighbors with a great work ethic, trying to live simply and enjoy life.
Heck, you even have a blog and I don't and I worked for 30+ yrs on computers! It is just a matter of priorities and time.
Keep on doin' what you are doin'... and keep Critter happy, Scrappy. Be yourself.

Dixie, Good to Know!

Trash Talk, Thank You, Reality has always scared me :-}
Garlic Man, No hair & dust settle hahaha
You aren't out of touch! You just know what you like. A rare state of being, Scrappy!
