Summers gone. Fall is here and the windows are open in the barn and we are coming off another great weekend.
Critter and I made it to the Texas Country Reporter Festival and SCORED! The two rabbit paintings were our first find and I just fell in love with them. Next we found the double yoke and then the single harness in great shape for $19.00 bucks. We had such a great day!!
The double yoke to me represents my commitment to Critter and our marriage. So, naturally I wanted two becuase I am truely devoted to my Critter :-)
I was telling Critter people may think of my decor as odd. I have bears,bunnies, horses, cows and farn implements in our bedroom. I just buy what I like and hopefully he likes also and try to put it together in a non offensive way.
I told him that a dream of mine would be to have Debb, from Trash Talk come put it together for me. I want to do something with my windows but I am clueless anyone got any ideas?
The last score was 150 pounds of rye seed for less than $80.00. If you are looking for Critter this week he will be plowing and seeding after work this week. :-)

Well, hey there, yourself, Stranger! Where ya been? Busy like the rest of us I imagine. Well, I've been a bit absent from time to time in blogland, too. I absolutely LOVE your rabbit paintings! And I don't think you need anybody to tell you how to decorate. You do what you love - the yokes don't look offensive - they fit your surroundings and your home - I never thought about them pertaining to marriage and I think that's an awfully neat way to display them. Good job! Sounds like you guys made a good haul at that sale! I guess you weathered this hot dry summer okay. Good to hear from you - now go set a spell on that nice porch your Critter built!
