Here is the picture that is giving me heck. I love the picture. It has a near black frame with gold trim. The blue is slightly lighter than navy with the inset pictures in black and white.Any suggestions for paint color other than white? It is such a small room that I figured white would help keep it from feeling like a shoe box. Also, I am trying to figure out if the molding should be the same dark brown like the rest of the house or should I go white?
Washer and dryer go where the ladder is along with some cabinets with drawers One drawer will pull out and contain the ironing board. The closet will have bifold doors
Shower to left of the window Linen closet to the right of the window The sink will go in front of Critter the toilet and shower also go on this side.
I love the Titanic picture. I have a b&w print of just the ship hanging on my wall. :) The darker plug covers def look MUCH better.

ReplyDeleteSometimes a color other than white can make a room seem larger ,but I always went with white because hubby and I seem to move no matter what I do to put down roots.
Please go with what feels right for you and Critter :)

Now for a Titanic moment .
Your fabulous Titanic print reminded me of when I was a Senior in highschool.
We had to pick a theme for an essay the grade was for the entire year ( no pressure ) we drew topics out of a hat .
I am as old as dirt went to a country school,we had no library,no computer,etc...
I rode the bus with a sweet girl named Jan and her grandmother had collected news clippings about the Titanic,and had a book written about the Titanic .
The only problem all was stored in a trunk in the barn loft and ,well after many years of being exposed to the elements everything was in fragile condition.
I was stubborn and rode my horse over to Jan's house after chores,etc... and made notes .
I graduated high school but it was by the skin of my teeth and my faithful horse .

Thank You :-) I am hoping the room turns out OK. The hubby says if I don't like it we can just redo it so we are going with the white.
I love the story. Sounds like you have some wonderful memories. A trusty horse is a prized possesion.
I don't care what color you paint that room. Cuz' I want my bed in that kitchen.
