I am fairly new to the cat world.
I have owned or they have owned me for 8 yrs now.
Dash, is our yellow cat that we shave. Not only for our amusement but to keep the loose hair factor to a minimum.
He has this annoying habit of praying loudly to his doorknob god.
We have a door that we keep closed to half of our house. Apparently, Dash beliefs require him to pray to the door knob really loud 24/7.
Anybody out their in the blog world have a Cat of the same religion and can you tell me just what the heck is this about? and how do I convince him to try Buddhism or become a good Southern Baptist?

Oh...he will have YOU praying for him to stop first. ha I love cats, too. We had two for years and lost them both within 6 months of each other. (I think the last one died of grief for his partner). They were a joy. Most people who say they hate cats have never owned one. Or, have never owned an affectionate one. Both of ours were lovers and cat sitters and snugglers. We haven't gotten any more pets since we lost ours because we are retired now and want to do some occasional traveling. But when we get a little older, I think I will get 2 more. Enjoy him!

ReplyDeleteI've known a lot of cats who try to OPEN doorknobs, but the noise I've never heard before! I think that must be a prodigy cat. Or possessed.

I have been shaving him for 3 years. got him as a flea covered kitten. He dosen't mind it except when you get to the tail ,then the fight is on! I'll get a vid next time.he just got done last weekend
