A bad day at Black Rock

I confess. I got pulled over Fri for doing 93 mph
Yes, I admit I was speeding and Yes I admit I got off with a warning :-) I promised my local police officer I would not do it again.
I have not had a ticket in a good 15 years or more. I do not have much contact with the police, seeing as how I am a boring old lady LOL!
I saw this pic in our local paper and some guy hit a trooper. Now here in Texas ya really don't want to mess with these upstanding law enforcement guys. My guess is, this guy who ran the light is in a world of poop!

Pickles is under the weather

So as you know, I imported Pickles from the big city to the sticks to help me with my nutritional handicap.
Well, guess who cooked dinner for two? Yes, I had to pull up the menu online and go to the restaurant and wait in line and set the table and do the dishes.
Pickles went to the doctor yesterday and her blood pressure is up and she has some bad chest congestion.
I cooked the meal and made sure she was comfortable.(role reversal)
I was leaving for work this morning and I woke her up and gave her coffee and she said she is feeling alot bettter.
I told her that I am looking forward to when I get off work at 5 to a good home cooked meal :-)

One can not live on Honeycombs and baby donuts

I have had to call in reinforcements after a mere 12 hours on my own :(.
When I was single in the city it was no problem, restaurants as far as the eye could see and no real chores other cleaning an apartment.
Here in the sticks and a million miles from nowhere- I am burned out on Sonic and the fear of burning my house down or a raging case of food poisoning.
I have wisely decided it's best for me not to attempt cooking
Everyone at church yesterday were offering to feed me if I showed up on their doorstep. Yes, the entire congregation knows I cannot cook.
PICKLES TO THE RESCUE!!!!!!!!
You see, Critter is gone till Fri. and I have the chore thing down but, a girl has got to eat! So Mom is headed over YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss my Critter BAD! (Yes, he married me for my looks and talents in other departments)
We have never really been apart so I am trying to put on a brave face but, I am weak from hunger.
I went to feed the horses this morning before sunrise (Critter feeds in the mornings) and all the horses looked at me as if I had 3 heads and was a lost stranger (I am not a morning person)
So let the good times!
The single ladies will be causing a ruckus tonight !

The Butt Dance

Critter gently woke me this morning with the Butt Dance.
What is that you say?
Well, in our household- You get in you spouses line of sight and shake your cute little rear from side to side while singing "I'm on vacation" ( repeat several times- the song and butt swaying)
This is so the spouse who has to get up and go to work can make loud grunting noises and dreads getting out of bed even more.

You think You got a good brother?

Well, I have the best brother on the face of the earth. He is my favorite brother (my only brother) Meet Bubba. (not real name)
He had a procedure done Fri and made it through no prob.

Well, I got a call yesterday and he had some issues come up so, he was back in the hospital.

I drove like a bat out of hell to get to the hospital and spent some time laughin with him. He is the kind of guy when you meet him ya love him.

So he is havin some test run and hopefully he will be fine and get to come home tomorrow.

Got some teeffers on Thurs. after the doc did some wild and extremely painful things to me. Thanks for the Meds doc they seem to be keeping my mind occupied :-}

I will get my official "George Washington " teeth at the end of the month and I will post some pics

Words of advise : Don't try and cook eggs while on Vicoden ( specially if ya don't know how to cook in the first place)

So I will be taking a little pill in the morning before my appt with the super nice guy.
