That Criitter bought me for our anniversary 5 yrs ago. Sunday we made the choice to put him down.
He had survived parvo as a kitten so he had seizures and he did not have the best balance but, he had a great heart and talked to me.
The past year he had gotten worse.
My kids are the same to me as yours are to you, only mine have paws and hooves but my love for them is the same as if they were human.
Sorry for your loss. It's hard to lose a beloved friend--regardless of the number of legs.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. As I type this with my little Jakie Dog laying across my feet, I understand. They love us unconditionally and the unselfish choice you made shows how much you loved Doodles. I'll be praying for your heart to mend.
