So, have you guessed that there have been changes here?
First Clue: Me cooking
I left my job and it was not something that was easy for me to do. If you recall one gentleman there was a mentor to me and he is suffering from terminal cancer and to make a choice that has resulted in me not seeing his smiling face on a daily basis was heart wrenching. One thing over the years that he re-enforced is, Life is to short! so, for me things and stress had gotten to the point that it was affecting me in my personal life and creating stress at home. SO, with Critter's encouragement I "jumped" Working there over the years I have grown fond of a couple of others and hope we don't loose touch.
So, what to do now?
First- Saddle up and ride away the stress and trust in the fact that GOD will guide me in what to do next.
Critter told me if I wanted to look for another job go for it. If not, stay home.
He is amazing!
He said to me that he liked coming home and me being here and dinner being ready and my new relaxed mood.
That left me with a problem. I DO NOT COOK! I made the two things I know how so....
Hmmm??? Now do I take cooking classes? NO!
Yesterday, I accepted a position with more benefits and more money and less stress so it seems I will not be taking a cooking class. Sorry, Critter.
I don't start for another week so going to have some more saddle time till then.
Best of luck to you. I know it was tough to leave your job, but it sounds as if you've gotten a better one right away. Best wishes from Pat, Russell, and me.
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am so proud of you. That was a tough decision to make and yet...you did it!

ReplyDeleteAfter a million years working, I learned to hold jobs loosely.
ReplyDeleteJust knowing you didn't have to go back to work makes going back to work OK.
Does that make sense?
